Melissa began her career as a licensed real estate professional in 2016 in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina. From the outset, her passion for architecture and home design, combined with a proactive "can-do" attitude, propelled her to quickly become a top producer and a Charleston Realtor of Distinction.

Recognizing a unique niche in the market, Melissa founded House & Heron, a brand dedicated to helping homeowners prepare their properties for sale through decluttering, redesigning, and light staging. Her keen eye for detail and commitment to excellence have enabled her to showcase homes in their best light, creating lasting impressions and driving successful sales. Melissa's expertise extends beyond sellers. She equally as passionate about assisting buyers in finding their perfect home. Born and raised in Western New York, Melissa moved to Wilmington, North Carolina, in 1997 before settling in Charleston in 2012. Her background as a birth doula has equipped her with valuable skills in communication, empathy, and stress management, all of which she applies to her real estate practice.

Outside of her professional life, Melissa is the proud mother of four: Aleah (27), Micah (23), Lucas (20), and Levi (15). In her free time, she enjoys exploring the beaches with her two cocker spaniels or spending time on the land she and her significant other, David, plan to develop into their future home.
